About This Game Blockwick is a jumbled world full of colorful blocks. Connect all same-colored blocks on the board. Blue with blue, red with red, and so on. Don’t worry about the white crates though—they just get in the way. If you get stuck on a puzzle, don’t fret. Just look for the hidden moon pearl. Finding the moon pearl in a puzzle will allow you to open the next puzzle. The further you progress the more special blocks you’ll meet. Some are bolted down and are permanently stuck. Some blocks are asleep and can’t move until they’re woken up (set down a same-colored block next to it to wake it up). Entangled blocks are connected together by quantum forces—when one moves so do the others. Blocks that are entangled share the same symbol. Eventually you’ll meet even more devious blocks. Sticky blocks are gooey and will stick to other blocks. You can't pick them up directly; they can only be pushed and pulled around with other blocks and crates. Caterpillar blocks are linked to each other like a train; they can only be moved with the head or the tail. Hypno blocks don’t need to be connected to solve a puzzle, but they’ll cause a lot of pain. The hypno puts any colored block to sleep if you set one down right next to it. Finally, flip blocks have six sides. When you move them, they flip to a different side, exposing a new color. Oh, did you notice the strange glyphs on the ground? Each puzzle has three. Try to cover them all up with groups of linked blocks to master the puzzle. If you are looking for a fun game to test your brain and pass the time; this is it. If your looking for a game to challenge you to your limits; look no further! Blockwick 2 is a perfect blend of challenge and fun and allows players to decide for themselves how difficult the game is. If you just want to have fun and pass the time a little bit you can just find the moon pearls and solve the puzzles. I enjoyed just listening to the music and admiring the artwork while I solved the puzzles. There is also another way to play the game; now I may just be really bad at puzzle games, but I found this way to be very difficult. If you are a huge fan of puzzle games or are a completionist and want a real challenge, try illuminating all of the puzzles. By not only placing the blocks next to each other, but also lighting up the symbols on the floor you essentially 100% the level. The game is very rewarding when you finally beat a level, and seeing the cleared, illuminated chapter screens is a very satisfying sight. The duality of this game; being a fun and casual puzzle game, and being a great challenge by going for 100% completion makes it perfect for anyone to enjoy! 9.5/10. There are quite a few puzzles, and as you get further and further in, they get harder and harder. Plus, each level has challenges: find the pearl (easy) and illumination (hard), which will keep you scratching your head as you try to solve each one. At this time, I've not completed every puzzle, though I'm close, and I've already spent 20+ hours in the game! If you like puzzles, for the price you pay, this is a great deal!. The game is really good, I would recommend it. It's more for puzzle professionals than beginners. What I personally do not like is that it has too many levels. I do not have all the levels through but if I'm right it should be 304 of which more than the half are really tricky.. Blockwick 2 is a fun casual puzzle game that tasks the player with connecting certain blocks together to move on to the next level. However, if the level proves too difficult a player can use a pearl found in the level to advance to the next stage. The player can visit previously skipped levels to try to finish them.While playing levels, players will notice glyphs on the board. If the player can connect those with the blocks, they will get an illumination for fully solving the puzzle. Otherwise, just connecting the blocks together only satisfies the next level requirement. There are 9 stages with increase difficulty and types of blocks that appear. Some blocks have special traits like are sticky or magnetic. Overall Blockwick 2 is a fun puzzle, with hours of enjoyment and tons of replay value. I'd recommend picking it up if you don't own it already. Especially if you like casual puzzles.. Probably my favourite puzzle game. To me, everything about it is perfect -- the graphics, the sounds, the music, the UI, the feel, the difficulty, the variety. Comes with a set of easy puzzles that you can finish in one sitting (or let your kid play them), and a set of harder ones that will last you a while, plus the optional added challenges of finding all the moon pearls and illuminating (covering) all the symbols.. A pretty good basic puzzle game.Puzzles are well made, sometimes quite hard if you try to fully solve (AKA illuminate) them.The graphics are simple but clean. Nothing spectacular.The interface feels like it's designed for mobile, but that didn't cause any problems.It feels fairly polished, the only bug I found was a fullscreen Linux issue which is fixed in the beta.IMHO, given it's price, 79%.
